Lord Huron

Die US-amerikanische Indie-Folk Band Lord Huron veröffentlicht am 21. Mai 2021 ihr langerwartetes neues Album «Long Lost» und kündigt für 2022 Live-Shows an. Durch die Serie «13 Reasons Why» erlangten Lord Huron 2017 mit der melancholischen Single «The Night We Met» grosse Bekanntheit. Heute sind sie vor allem für ihren filmischen Sound bekannt: ihre Musik ist durchzogen von warmen Gitarrenklängen, schwellenden Streichern und bewegenden Melodien.

Auf ihrem neusten Werk präsentiert die Band aus Los Angeles einen verträumten 50er Jahre Klang und kombiniert dabei erneut Retro-Folk mit cineastischen Rock- und Country-Elementen. Entstanden ist ein Konzeptalbum über eine fiktive Band, das «Whispering Pines» Studio, wo sie «Long Lost» aufnahmen, und die verlorenen Geister und Seelen, die dort leben.

Leider musste die Show vom 17.02.2022 abgesagt werden. Hier das Statement der Band:
